The Aquatic Center at GCSU Wellness and Recreation is closed. 

 

General Rules and Expectations
  • A swimsuit must be worn at all times. Both one and two-piece swimsuits may be worn. Gym shorts and other athletic attire may not be worn in the pools.
  • No food or drink permitted in the pool areas. Leave all personal belongings in the locker rooms. 
  • Be considerate of other swimmers at all times!
  • Only one person allowed on the diving boards at one time. Forward dives and jumps allowed, no flipping. 
  • Do not enter the pool area if you are sick. If you begin to feel sick, nauseous, or dizzy during your time in the pool, seek help from a lifeguard immediately. 

WRC lifeguard staff has authority over Aquatic Center conduct, and use of equipment. Patrons who fail to follow rules and regulations may be given a warning. Refusal to comply with staff may result in being asked to leave the Wellness and Recreation Center. Failure to comply with requests of the staff may also result in the suspension of facility privileges.

All patrons are responsible for knowing and following the policies and guidelines stated in the User Policy Manual.
